Strategy, goals, and departments

Maintain strategic context, measurable goals, and the operating structure used by agents and workflows.

Strategy

The Strategy area stores the venture's current strategic narrative. Teams can create and update strategy documents, inspect revisions, and make the active strategy available as context to AI work.

Strategy revisions are useful when the business direction changes: update the source rather than repeating corrections in every task.

Goals

Goals turn the strategy into trackable outcomes. A goal can include its title, description, status, priority, target information, and relationships to venture work.

Use goals to:

  • communicate the intended outcome to agents;
  • group and prioritize work;
  • distinguish active goals from completed or paused goals;
  • preserve a history of changes.

Track revenue, acquisition, retention, and churn in the venture's connected analytics system, then use goal updates to summarize progress for agents.

Departments

Departments define operating areas such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, or Operations. They organize agents and workflow responsibility.

You can create, edit, and remove departments, then associate agents and work with them. Department-level views help separate ownership inside a venture.

Department views organize ownership and workflow reporting. Use your finance and workforce systems for headcount and capacity budgets.
